Welcome to Henderson Point
Tucked along the peaceful shores of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Henderson Point has a history as rich as its sunsets. From historic cottages and windswept oaks to beach bars, boutiques, and boats in the bay, Henderson Point blends the warmth of a tight-knit community with the breezy spirit of coastal living. SPOTLIGHT: The Blind Tiger – Bay St. Louis
A Waterfront Legacy: Opened in May 2013 on Bay St. Louis’s marina front, The Blind Tiger was the first waterside building to rise in the post‑Katrina landscape. Owner Thomas Genin transformed the site once occupied by Jerry Fisher’s Dock of Bay into a relaxed beach bar and grill, catalyzing Old Town’s Gulf Coast revitalization.
Henderson Point Walking Trail
Tucked just off the shoreline, the Henderson Point Walking Trail is one of the area's best-kept secrets — a peaceful, tree-lined path that winds through coastal beauty and Gulf breeze. Whether you're out for a morning walk, an afternoon bike ride, or a quiet sunset stroll, this trail offers the perfect escape.
Shaded by native oaks and pines, the trail weaves through pockets of natural scenery, with glimpses of the bay and access to quiet spots for reflection or photos. Birdsong, salt air, and the soft crunch of gravel underfoot set the tone for a classic coastal experience.
And if you’re feeling adventurous, the trail connects directly to the Bay St. Louis Bridge pedestrian path — a breathtaking extension with panoramic views of the water. The bridge walk spans over two miles each way and offers one of the most scenic strolls on the entire Gulf Coast, especially at sunrise or sunset.
Loved by locals and newcomers alike, the Henderson Point Walking Trail is more than just a path — it’s a reminder to slow down, breathe in the moment, and enjoy the simple beauty of life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
